The Blackwood Live Edge takes its name from the distinctive design feature that incorporates the outside edge of a tree. You will see in the photos the black recessed cavity allows the live edge of the timber to pop, and brings a truly natural element to this bedroom collection. A winning combination where nature meets architectural design and really is something a little bit special.

For those of you in the know you will attest to the Tasmanian Blackwood's truly beautiful character. Hard to sum up in photos alone with brilliant variations of lighter and darker streaks in the grain, and sure to impress if you are looking for the warm tones of a natural Aussie timber. The colour you see is the natural colour of the timber and is sealed with clear satin varnish and complete with black steel loop legs.

The drawers have metal runners, dovetail joins and the bases have been lined with black felt. You will be impressed with the structure of the bed, solid and sturdy with a central support and good quality slats.
